✨LITTLE UPDATE ABOUT ONDIS 8/9/36✨
For the last almost 3 years Max, our head chef, has poured his heart and soul into our food program: it is a testament to his talent and hard work. Eternal gratitude for this collaboration and what he has helped me build. After next week Max will be moving onto his next adventure, and it’s had me thinking about ONDIS and what its future looks like. I never wanted to be a restaurant but when you stumble on talent like Max’s you just go with it. That said, I am intentional about everything I do and staying a full blown restaurant for the sake of being a restaurant without a proper replacement to fill those big shoes doesn’t feel right. So I think it’s time to go back to the basics, what I love most and am good at: Wine, Cocktails, and Snacks.
We will be closed the week of August 17 and reopening Wednesday August 26 with new hours, less food, no reservations, and same cozy vibes! We will also be welcoming in pop-ups so if you or anyone you know is interested email Ondisvt@gmail.com.
It’s a bittersweet change but I’m excited for this new iteration and to welcome you all back in. Make sure to come in this weekend and next week to properly send off Max and this (generation? version? cycle?) of ONDIS

WE WILL BE CLOSED THE WEEK OF 8/17

ONDIS is about creating a community space where all are welcome. Todays world is hard to navigate and if we can be a small part to improve mental health and bring the community together, we have achieved our goal. Food and drink are a major part of all of our lives that bring us together. We aren't changing the world -- just making it a little better within our four tiny walls. We welcome all to join us and enjoy food that is meant to be shared, drinks that are mindful, and company that keeps us going.
